A. BASIC FUNCTION
The mechanical engineering intern is responsible for assisting the current engineers with their day to day activities. This internship will give hands on experience in the engineering field.
B. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/MAJOR TASKS
Good researching skills.
Good problem solving skills.
Ability to read and understand engineering specifications.
Ability to cross reference.
Ability to learn new software programs.
Ability to communicate to different departments.
Familiarity with SolidWorks and capability to create 2D and 3D drawings.
Experience with SolidWorks 3D modeling, FEA, DriveWorks desireable.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Other duties as assigned.

F. QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
(1) Education and Experience
Applicants must be enrolled in a 2 year certificate program or a 4 year degree program. The degree must focus on engineering or related fields.

Mechanical design skills.
Strong verbal written communication skills.
Organizational skills.
3-D modeling skills.
Posted Location: Rice Lake,WIEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
